finished loki vambraces by sasukeharber finished loki vambraces by sasukeharber
yay finally all the armor is done, here the last part the vambraces :) ,finished by first spraying black, then gold, then i used black paint and tissue paper to rub the paint into all the details then quickly wiped away the extra to give that weathered look loki's armour seems to have :) ,really happy with these .

made from craft foam sheets, hot, super and pva glue,wire,3d paint, black paint, gold, black, clear spray paint

follow me on tumblr for updates on this cosplay- [link]

i dont own loki or marvel,just a fan :)

wire? the raised texture on these pieces are done using 3d paint ,the entire thing is foam covered with pva glue, then I added in the clay details, then more pva , then 3d paint. then spray painted :)

nope, just some air dry clay I get off ebay, the clay parts were only at the top , but when I do anything with clay I always coat the item in least 4 layers of pva glur to help seal it in, I only use it for very small details or maybe simple flat or slightly raised shapes on props

Amazing looking! How sturdy are they? (example if someone were to hug you out of no where? Which happens sometimes at conventions...)

Oh okay. It doesn't sound too bad. I actually bought all the materials to try make some armor for my Loki cosplay...I'm just not sure where to start. I have a pre-made coat (fake leather), but I want to cover it with real leather (I want as close as possible to a replica to the movie).
Hmm but thanks :)
